About Tesia
Tesia Childs is currently a stage manager in New York City. She holds a degree in Performing Arts Studies from Lees-McRae College and is currently a third-year Stage Management MFA Candidate at Columbia University.
She has worked professionally as a stage manager, director, and lighting designer, with multiple local companies in Wilmington NC, and Connecticut before her move to NYC.
She currently teaches a Stage Management course at Wesleyan University and is a Sub ASM for Six, Company, and Book of Mormon on Broadway as well as the Frozen National Tour.
What's Next?
Tesia is finishing her pursuit of an MFA degree as well as going into her second year of teaching at Wesleyan University. This fall she will also be working the Assistant Stage Manager for Hamilton Broadway
